These pictures will give you an insight of what kind of work we provide, but for any question related to a specific kind of game, please contact us directly and we’ll inform you of our translation process.

Though narrative games are underrepresented, you may consider that this is 100% part of our abilities. As explained earlier on the website, we have a specialty in literary translation, which gives a very specific color to the texts one may work with. For info, the rulebooks themselves (and aid cards if any) usually brings a very technical aspect to the translation process, with consistency as a main objective to be kept throughout the entire rulebook. Cards and separate texts that aren’t based on rules require a more creative approach, in order to transmit to the players the exact emotion or knowledge one was seeking while writing the game.

The many years spent in translating games, board games (and even game books!) allows us to have a long list of previous projects worked on. For some reason (regarding NDA for instance) this list is regularly updated but does not always include all projects worked on.

Several collaborations with translation agencies (specialized or not) will neither appear in this portfolio. Only games translated or worked under the company named The Rulebook Translator will be advertised here.

You’ll find more information on game projects on BGG under our account and may receive, on demand, more precision on how translation has occurred during any specific project you are interested in.

If you do not wish to see your project appearing here, please let us know through any means of communication.
